At-Bat(s) |
An AB is earned if a batter
safely reaches a base, or is credited with an out after hitting
a ball. An AB is not recorded if a batter is walked or hit
by a pitch. |

At-Bat(s) / Grounded Into Double Play |
This refers to the number
of times a batter earned an AB but also grounded into a double
play. |

At-Bat(s) / Home Run |
This refers to the number
of times a batter earned an AB and also hit a home run. |
| AB/RBI |
At-Bat(s) / Runs Batted In |
This refers to the number
of times a batter earned an AB and drove in a run (enabled

Fly Out(s) |
When a batter hits a ball
and it is called out. |

Batting Average |
This refers to the total
number of base hits according to the number of at-bats. |
| BB |
Base on Balls |
A walk. When four pitches
are thrown either deliberately or not outside the strike zone
and causes the batter to advance to first base. |

Caught Stealing |
When a runner attempts
to advance a base and is either thrown or tagged out by an
opponent. |

Games Played |
This refers to the total
number of games played during a season. |

Grounded Into Double Play |
When a hitter hits the
ball and enables the opposition to record two outs. |
| GO |
Ground Out(s) |
This refers to the number
of ground balls hit by a batter and deemed out. Bunts are excluded
from this. |

The ratio between the
total number of ground outs and fly outs. |

Grand Slam Home Runs |
This refers to a home
run hit when all of the bases are already loaded with runners. |

When a batter successfully
arrives at first base after hitting the ball. |
| HBP |
Hit By Pitch |
When a batter is hit by
a pitch either deliberately or not by the opposition's pitcher. |
| HR |
Home Run |
This occurs when a batter
safely arrives at home plate and scores a run either by hitting
the ball over an outfield fence or by reaching home safely. |

Intentional Base on Balls |
When a batter is intentionally
walked by the opposing pitcher. |
| LOB |
Left on Base |
Refers to the total number
of runners left on base. |
| NP |
Number of Pitches |
This refers to the total
number of pitches that a batter faces during the course of
a game. |
| OBP |
On Base Percentage |
This refers to the total
number of times a batter reaches base based on the total number
of at-bats. |
| OPS |
On Base Plus Slugging Percentage |
This refers to the combined
total of the OBP, and SLG. |

This refers to the total
number of strikeouts based on a player's AB. |

Sacrifice Bunt |
A batter records a SAC
when he intentionally advance base runners while getting himself
out. |
| SB% |
Stolen Base Percentage |
This refers to a base
runner's success rate at attempting to steal or advance a base. |
| SF |
Sacrifice Fly |
When a batter flys out
and enables a teammate(s) to score a run(s) after the ball
was caught. |
| SLG |
Slugging Percentage |
This refers to the total
number of bases earned based on the total number of AB. |
| SO |
Strikeouts |
When a batter faces three
pitches (not necessarily consecutive) in an inning and he does
not advance to first base. (This does not include a BB on HBP). |
| TB |
Total Bases |
This refers to the total
numbers of bases that a player records dependant on his accumulation
of hits (singles, doubles, triples, and home runs). |
| TP |
Triple Play |
This is recorded when
there are no outs and a batter hits the ball and enables the
opposition to immediately record three outs. |

Total Plate Appearances |
This refers to the player's
total number of at-bats, walks, hit by pitches and sacrifices
flies. |

This refers to a player's

This is earned by an outfielder

This is an error that
only a catcher can earn. This refers to a ball that the catcher
fails to catch but normally should have. |

Putout (s) |
This is earned by a fielded
when he is directly credited with recording an out on a runner
attempting to advance. |

This refers to the total
number of stolen bases that a catcher allows. |

Balk (s) |
There are far too many

by a pitcher. It refers to the break in the natural motion

A pitcher records a CG
when he remains in a game as his team's sole pitcher. |

Complete Game Loss |
This refers to the number
of losses recorded by a pitcher once he has earned a CG. |
